Felt Flower Headbands

I've made lots of felt flowers in the past, but finally, I have my own design that I'm really satisfied with. Presenting our new felt flower headband collection - now on Etsy!

To create these flowers, I experimented with petal sizes until I finally found one that I liked. This was my original prototype:

Though I was happy with the way this one came out, I wanted to make the next ones slightly smaller and less angular. This way, it would be easier for me to keep the petals uniform, and the size of the flowers would be more appropriate for young girls and babies.

Success! (Have I mentioned sunflowers and daisies are my favorite flowers?)

I love the chunky texture of this one.

I experimented with different textures for the centers of the flowers. I don't think I have a preference, but I do like that they are all a little different.

I did some experimenting with multiple colors, too!

These are fun to make, and I love the way they turn out. I hope others love them too so I can keep making them!

Millsboro Fire Hall Fall Festival

Thank you to everyone who visited us at the Fall Festival today! I really enjoyed seeing the diverse collection of items in all three rooms. The cold rain also made it a great day for an indoor craft event!

We situated ourselves in a corner of the room. Lots of color to contrast with the gray skies outside!

I love the way this display looks!

These cute solar lights are perfect for beach houses.

We didn't hang our bags like we usually do, and it was interesting to see all of the fabrics laying against each other.

If you're ever interested in making your fridge more fabulous, you know who to call.

There were three separate rooms of vendors today, and it was awesome seeing such a wide variety of items. We have some very talented people in our community!
