A Very Crafty Memorial Day

The internet is working again! Woo!

Apparently, craftiness is contagious. For our Memorial Day party, the men in the family decided to build and paint their own cornhole boards. If you're not familiar with cornhole, it's just a glorified bean bag toss...though it tends to get a little competitive :)

The official Crafty Crabs cornhole boards.

You can't play cornhole without bean bags!
When sewing them together, Cheryl made sure to choose "manly" fabrics.

The weather this Memorial Day weekend was beautiful. Perfect for outdoor games!

We did run into some issues. For a little while, the dog thought the bean bags were for fetching :)

And look! Our show tent came in handy!

Last, but certainly not least, I baked Irish Car Bomb cupcakes for our party. They are - hands down - the BEST cupcakes I've ever had. I originally found the recipe here and they were a huge hit both times I've baked them. The pirate decorations are optional, but recommended.

Summer is coming, meaning I'll have more time for tutorials and posts. My goal is to open our official Etsy shop!
